I am visiting from OC and wanted a true Chinatown foodie experience. I am so excited I came here and got to experience this. Genuinely made me feel like Anthony Bourdain with the level of flavor. If you come here you're coming for the hand pulled noodles and the dumplings. We got the orange chicken and it was pretty mid but the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup and the Pork dumplings in chili oil were to die for. I would genuinely eat this everyday if I could. The noodles were perfectly cooked. They kept their bouncy texture all through the meal and soaked up the dynamite flavor of the broth. The beef was so tender and flavorful. I'll be dreaming of the broth and noodles tonight for certain. The pork dumplings alone were cooked perfectly and burst with flavor (literally) with every bite. The addition of the chili oil was chefs kiss. Best dimsum I've ever had. Thank you San Francisco for stealing my foodie heart. I'll never forget this experience. Love love love!

(Updated review to add photos) Some of the best homestyle dumplings in San Francisco. Like the pork and onion dumplings here are probably the best simple dumplings in chinatown. and surprisingly there's Sichuan style dishes and most are really good too although they will often substitute onions or garlic stems for cabbage or a cheaper alternative in the recipes, but its still tasty and the prices are really freakin reasonable. Not a fan of the pan fried buns tho they dont have the proper char on the bottom and no sesame seeds or green onions on top and no soup inside like a traditional 生煎包 shanghai style. But I anyways Really love their pork and onion dumplings so much I could eat them all day as well as the 红油抄手 chili wonton too, and recently I got the 麻辣牛肉面 (numbing spicy beef noodle) and it was better than most of the sichuan restaurants here in chinatown and I eat a lot of sichuan food so that was a pleasant surprise! The owner is so nice too every time I go they are super friendly

Great spot for comforting Chinese food. The soup dumplings were juicy and flavorful, the scallion pancake was crispy, and the beef noodle soup was rich and satisfying. Quick service and good portions — I’d definitely come back.

My friend ordered the chicken and cabbage dumplings and I ordered the Shanghai pan fried pork buns and braised beef noodle soup. The pan fried pork buns were a bit dry and not that flavorful on their own, but with some chili oil, soy sauce, and vinegar it was good. The braised beef noodle soup was some of the BEST I’ve ever had. The noodles seemed to be freshly hand pulled, the beef was so tender, and the broth was rich and very well/seasoned. Prices were good and they do take card/Apple pay, which was very convenient. Food arrived quickly and the atmosphere was very hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant.

The food is realy good and the ambiance is ok. smallplace can fit aproximatly 20 people but we were lucky because we had the last table. We put 2 stars on the sevice because it took them 30 min to get the food ready and to order you literally need to get up and ask if the server can come to the table. We ordered gyoza and soup dumplings and a dumpling noodle soup. The gyoza were ok; the soup dumplings were very good and then the noodle soup was amazing. It is very big and there is a fair amount of dumplings in it. In conclusion we liked this place for the food.

We stopped by this little spot - more of a hole-in-the-wall than a full restaurant. Tried two kinds of shrimp dumplings: the first ones were great, kind of homemade-style with thick dough and tasty filling - really hit the spot. The second ones, the shumai, were a letdown: tiny, same price, but the filling tasted more like fish, and the little shrimp on top felt more like decoration. So, one type was delicious, the other… not so much

Surprisingly good beef noodle soup and I have high standards for this. Place is small and very popular. Service is hustling as fast as they can. It’s a small family business.
